EMISSIONS TRADING - INTRODUCTION

In 2008, SVS started to research the possibility of entering the emissions market.

Today, SVS has an established network of local and international counterparties including investment banks, brokerages, trading houses, utilities and carbon unit origination/consultancy companies, through which it executes SPOT OTC trades in EU Allowances (EUAs) and Certified Emission Reductions (CERs). In addition, SVS has become a member of BlueNext.

SVS is enhancing its involvement in the global emissions market by bringing together buyers and sellers in an efficient OTC trading marketplace. Trades are generally settled on a T+1 basis, however transactions can, by arrangement, be settled on a T+0 basis, providing our trading clients with the opportunity to trade intra-day.
